Trash by Province
An everyday object becomes a chart: comparing household waste and its composition across Austria’s provinces.
What is inside the bin?
This story turns annual waste per resident into stacked, bin-shaped graphics. A national overview introduces the material categories, and a repeated set of provincial bins makes totals and composition comparable.
The same colours carry categories such as paper, glass, biowaste and residual waste across the spread. Survey figures about waste separation add a second perspective alongside the measured quantities.
